A: A new roof is a complete replacement of your existing roof, including the supports, but it may be possible to repair your roof by re roofing, which is done by fitting a brand-new set of roof shingles over your existing set.
If you’ve had that done before, your only option would be a new roof from scratch as re roofing can only be done once, but if re roofing is an option, you could save some money and time.
